You may have heard that JSCo is its own largest property management client. But what goes into creating a property before it reaches the team that will operate it? In this interactive session, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at JSCo’s development process and the tradeoffs that shape design and construction decisions.
Working in teams, you’ll make choices for a hypothetical 120-unit family housing project with a limited “development budget,” then see how real-world costs, resident needs, maintenance concerns, and operational challenges affect those decisions.
We’ll wrap up by discussing which design choices help or hinder day-to-day operations and what lessons we can carry into future JSCo projects.
